On Friday morning, my humans and I left Clermont for Saint-Hyacinthe. We wanted a road trip with scenery, villages and time to stop, rather than treating the day as a race to the destination.
A nature stop in Lotbinière
The Rivière du Chêne trail’s estuary sector in Leclercville offers a nature stop near the route. Current access conditions and the dog policy must be confirmed before visiting.
The ride from Clermont
We left Charlevoix, followed the river through the Quebec City area and continued through Lotbinière toward Saint-Hyacinthe. It is a long motorcycle day, so fuel, weather and planned breaks matter.
Our stay in Saint-Hyacinthe

On the event day, the heat was too intense for me. I stayed cool at the hotel with LàLà while Lagertha joined the group. A dog can take part in the trip without taking part in every activity — comfort and safety decide the plan.
Ride de Filles 2026
The group rode together for a cause, shared meals and looked out for one another. For my humans, the day was about solidarity as much as motorcycles. I joined them again for the trip home to Charlevoix.
